Dear friends, we have finally arrived in Africa!
After a very long delay and an unexpected stop in Uganda, we have arrived safe and sound at Kigali Airport this afternoon. Pappy's brother was already waiting for us and the reunion of the two brother's truly was a special moment for everyone. Now we are at "Youth With A Mission Kigali" where we will spend the night. They have truly blessed us with their amazing hospitality and friendships. Tomorrow early morning we will be heading off to Bukavu (Congo).
How shall we describe our first impressions...:
Africa is sunny, hot, loud, beautiful landscape surrounding us - it's people are vibrant, everywhere, curious, expectant, smiling...
Even though we are super tired from the journey, we are more than happy to be here.
